I love everything farmhouse. I love creating things out of the weirdest things. I love finding new ways to make flowers. Flowers make me happy. Coco Liners from the Dollar Tree….What are we going to do with them??? Well, we are going to make some rustic roses to add to a flower arrangement that I am making.
To make the rose, you will only need 3 things. That is it.
Material List:
- Coco Liner from the Dollar Tree
- Scissors
- Glue Gun (Ryobi is my glue gun of choice, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it)
Are you ready to get started!?!?
You will start by cutting a slit and spiraling it all the way around till you get to the end. See pictures below.
Just keep spiraling it around and around. Pretty simple right!
Once you have your spiral cut all the way to the end of the liner, you will start rolling it into a rose. You will also glue as you go too, just to make sure that your rose stays together.
Put the glue at the bottom only. And just roll, roll, roll. Simple, Simple, Simple.
When you are all finished rolling the liner you will have a gorgeous rose to show for it.
Isn’t it just gorgeous?!? I took a farmhouse can that I picked up at Walmart and added some cotton, dried grass, 2 of the coco liner roses and a raffia bow, to make my arrangement that I am just in love with. See the below picture. What do you think?
